Easter Weekend

We had a busy, fun Easter weekend.

Our kids were lucky enough to have two Easter Egg Hunts this year. It ended up that both were on the same day- how fun!
FIRST it was Grandma & Grandpa Berrett's annual egg hunt. Boy did they go all out with eggs and prizes hidden all over the yard. The kids went nuts running aroung trying to find everything. Then we had a nice hot dog lunch and cupcakes to celebrate Grady & Aubrie's birthdays.

The Whole Gang. All the Grandkids were there except for Collin.

Kelsi & Brooks on the go.

Kelsi was so good to help Brooks find all his eggs.

Grady loved his very first cupcake.

Thank you Grandma (and Grandpa) we had such a fun day!

Our second egg hunt was a flashlight hunt in the back field with some friends. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a riot running around in the dark looking for eggs. After the hunt we enjoyed some yummy strawberry shortcake, thanks Angie!

The kids all ready to hunt for eggs.

Kelsi & Rachel Horman.

Thank you Tiff for organizing our egg hunt, we had such a good time!

Kelsi & Brooks were so cute decorating eggs. They had a great time and made such a huge mess:) This year we got a glitter egg dying kit, and they didn't turn out as great as we had hoped, but good enough :)

Easter day was a very mellow, nice day. The kids woke up and looked for and enjoyed their baskets, got in their new Easter clothes and then we went to church. Being at church on Easter is very special as we focus on the Resurrection of our Savior. After church we had dinner with my family and ended the day with a walk. We had a nice Easter and enjoyed spending the day as a family.

Brooks was so excited about all his treats, he ate most of them within minutes.
